Sakhi Mphahlele
FOUNDER AND MARKETING DIRECTOR.
Sakhi completed his BA in Journalism and Communication with a Concentration in Organisational and Public Relations in August 2020 at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, United States of America.
He has gained extensive experience in a marketing, communications, and public relations capacity prior to changing career paths to Health and Social Care. In 2015-16 he worked as a Tele-Marketer and Agent Assistant for Pam Golding Properties International – a member of Savills where he sought out potential clients interested in selling or renting out their properties. He handled property listings on the company website and assisted with property evaluations. He has supervised and promoted brand activations for several businesses such as Nando’s and Castle Lager.
During his undergraduate degree (2016-20) he was appointed Global Admissions Student Ambassador for Wartburg College where he coordinated and edited the monthly newsletter, handled its social media accounts, conducted Skype interviews, monitored lead emails, and the administration of filing student documents. These day to day activities were completed while promoting and marketing to prospective international students interested in pursuing undergraduate degrees in the United States. Sakhi interned as a public relations officer for St. Paul’s Lutheran Church & School where he wrote press releases, created, directed, produced, and edited all content and graphics for the online video series Vacation Bible School (VBS) for the church. This was a first-time experience for Sakhi and St. Paul's as VBS would change from in-person summer activities to an entirely digital/online setting for the summer program. This was the most suitable solution to the global pandemic lockdown rules from COVID-19, preventing in-person contact.
In 2020 he was appointed Digital Producer for Fiori Films, handling all social media pages and platforms, photography, videography, and written blog articles ultimately assisting in the production of a documentary titled In the Archives: The Story of Kaye Russo Fraser.
Currently, Sakhi has a combined experience of over 3 years working as a fully certified/qualified healthcare assistant through the CPL Learning training platform in both domiciliary and live-in care. He has worked with homecare companies: Allot Healthcare Services, Helping Hands, and Elder Technologies. Sakhi is a member of The Public Relations Society of America and is in the beginning process of acquiring his Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF).
